DRDO, India’s premier technology organization employs bright, qualified and competent scientists and technologists in Group ‘A’ (Class-I) technical service known as Defence Research & Development Service (DRDS) as Scientist B in the pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500/- through DRDO Scientist Entry Test (DRDO SET) -2008.

Scientist B : 500 posts (Electronics & Comm. Engineering-160, Mechanical Engineering- 130, Computer Science & Engineering – 80, Chemical Engineering-20, Electrical Engineering – 20, Instrumentation Engineering – 20, Metallurgical Engineering – 20, Chemistry – 25, Physics – 25), Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500/-, Age : 28 years as on 31/05/2008., Qualification : At least first class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication Engg. / Mechanical Engg. / Computer Science & Engg. / Chemical Engg/ Electrical Engg./ Instrumentation Engg. / Metallurgical Engg. or first class Master’s Degree in Science in Chemistry/Physics from a recognized University in respective/relevant discipline.

Application Form : Candidates are required to apply in the Electronically Scannable Application Form specified for DRDO SET – 2008, will be available at the designated branches of State Bank of India from 5th May 2008 to 31 May 2008 to General/OBC candidates on payment of Rs. 300/- (for SC/ST Rs.100/-) (No fee for HH/OH candidates)
