REQUIRES 18 RESEARCH OFFICERS:

1. RESEARCH OFFICER (MECHANICAL) : 5 POSTS
Qualification : M.Tech or M.E in Mechanical, Automobile, Energy Studies, Thermal or IC Engines from a recognized University/Institute with at least 65% marks in Graduation as well as in Post-Graduation.  Specialization in Tribology, Engine Testing for Fuels and Lubricants, Alternative Fuels and Vehicular Emissions etc. is desirable. Research experience in the field of Engine/Vehicle Testing with an Automobile Company/Research Institute will be preferred.

2. RESEARCH OFFICER (CHEMICAL ENGG.) : 6 POSTS
Qualification : M.Tech or M.E. in Chemical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with at least 65% marks in Graduation as well as in Post-Graduation. Specialisation in Petroleum Refining Processes, Reaction Engg./Separation Processes/ Equipment Design/Simulation & Modelling is desirable. Research experience in the related field is desirable. Candidates having knowledge of handling analytical equipments and interpretation of data will be preferred.
Preference shall be given to the candidates, who have passed B.Tech as well as M.Tech from IITs and NITs.

3. RESEARCH OFFICER (CHEMISTRY) : 7 POSTS
Qualification : Ph.D in Physical / Analytical / Organic / Inorganic Chemistry from a recognized  University/Institute with at least 65% marks in Graduation as well as in Post-Graduation. Candidates with Mathematics as one of the main subjects in Graduation shall be preferred. Research experience in chemistry specially in the field of Petroleum Products, Polymers, Petro-chemicals, Bitumen etc. is desirable.
