Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following positions at Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute (AMPRI), Bhopal (a constituent Institute of CSIR ) as per details given below. The Institute is devoted to R&D activities in the following areas:
1. Materials Development and Characterization
Research and Development of materials, processes and technologies in the areas of Metallic Materials employing processes, such as, Foundry techniques, extrusion, rolling, electromagnetic forming for aluminum / magnesium alloys, metal matrix composites, aluminum alloy foam materials, Nanocomposites
etc. AMPRI is having many advanced and sophisticated characterization facilities like SEM, Powder XRD, UVVis., AAS, ICP, FTIR, Servo hydraulic universal testing machine, etc.

2. Natural Fibres and Composites
Natural fibres characterization, sisal fibres processing and use in making environmental friendly composite materials using polymers for engineering materials, building materials and components.

3. Environmental Studies and Industrial Waste Utilization
Development of new materials from industrial wastes, such as, fly ash, red mud and other solid wastes, industrial wastes minimization, environmental impact assessment studies.

4. Natural Resources
Mineral Beneficiation and coal preparation techniques, water resources management studies.

5. Computer Simulation & Process Modeling
Computation mechanics, Computer simulation and design of metal casting and forming processes, Fracture Mechanics, Material informatics application of artificial intelligence techniques in materials and process design and Software development.

Technical Gr. III (1) : 07 posts [ UR – 03, OBC – 01, SC-01, ST-01, PH-01], Pay Band : PB-3 Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200, Age : 28 years as on 30/7/2009
